In the beginning…
Kosherstarbucks.com is what happened when two Starbucks addicts decided to determine just how many different drinks a kosher consumer could enjoy.
We began to collect more and more information including ingredients of various drinks, what the ingredients really are, the procedure for making each beverage including which machines are used for what. We quickly realized that there really are many options available to the kosher consumer at Starbucks. Feeling a bit guilty about not sharing, we began sharing our findings with close family and friends. Being that the kosher status could change (ie. if a new drink is introduced) we had to assure ourselves that we could immediately contact friends and family of changes. The natural solution seemed to be a website, nothing big and fancy, just a place where people could go to see the latest kosher starbucks info.
Somehow our group of “Friends” grew exponentially as Starbucks fans shared the “secret” with “just this one” and “just that one”. We realized there were hundreds of thousands of people that could also enjoy the results of our extensive research and hard work…
Kosherstarbucks.com is now THE website for all information regarding the kosher status of Starbucks Beverages. We approach this responsibility with respect to the seriousness of its nature. We are extremely careful and pay much attention to detail as we gather the facts from baristas, former baristas and managers of the Starbucks company regarding, ingredients and procedures. We then present any questions to prominent halachik authorities and only then can a product join the ranks as “recommended”. We hope that we can continue to offer Kosher Starbucks Drinkers the Starbucks experience.
